Zodiac Fleet
In 2388, Vice Admiral Talim Meran called Fleet Captain Mai Nguyen into her office to discuss the possibility of Task Force 412 becoming an actual fleet. She reminded Mai that commanding a fleet is different than just a Task Force. With the recommendation, it was brought in front of Fleet Admiral Parker, Commander in Chief of the entire Starfleet.
Mai was promoted to Fleet Admiral and given command of Zodiac Fleet, or better known as the 412th Fleet. She was allowed to keep her current command of the USS Katana as her fleet flagship. Taking command of the fleet, She set to work recruiting her needed staff to help out.
